Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, the new The Big Bang Theory spin-off, premiered last week on HBO Max and brings back some of the franchise’s most memorable characters. And there are quite a few!

Stuart, Denise, Kripke, and Bert

The protagonists, of course, need to be on the list. Obvious as it may be, the four appear in completely different versions throughout the episodes of the first season.
Raj (Kunal Nayyar)

One of the members of the original quartet of protagonists from The Big Bang Theory, Raj Koothrappali appears in the very first episode of Stuart Fails to Save the Universe. He is one of the prisoners being held by the dictator Kripke in the post-apocalyptic universe.
Penny (Kaley Cuoco)

One of the main characters from The Big Bang Theory returned in the second episode of Stuart Fails to Save the Universe: Penny, once again played by Kaley Cuoco. This, however, is not the Penny from the original series, but rather an alternate version who is leading the resistance against the AI apocalypse.
