Jon Hamm Confirms He and Wife Anna Osceola Are Expecting First Child

Actor Jon Hamm confirmed this week that he and his wife, Anna Osceola, are expecting their first child together.
Hamm, 55, publicly addressed the development during a Tuesday appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers. The televised confirmation arrived shortly after Osceola, 38, showcased her pregnancy at the Emmy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Sept. 14.
Speaking with host Seth Meyers, the Emmy-winning performer responded directly to a photograph taken at the awards gala, declaring straightforwardly that the couple is preparing for the arrival of a baby. Hamm remarked with humor about the strategic timing of the public reveal, noting that Osceola’s visible pregnancy emerged just in time for the high-profile ceremony.
“By turn, very excited and deeply terrified,” he said. “So, I think I'm doing it right", the actor said.
When Meyers questioned him regarding his state of mind about entering fatherhood, Hamm noted that his emotions oscillate between sheer thrill and absolute panic. Meyers, a father of three who noted his own entry into parenthood later in life at age 52, welcomed Hamm to the cohort of older fathers. Hamm countered by quipping about his advanced age relative to when his child will reach adulthood, declaring that his seniority puts him in an entirely distinct category.
The impending arrival marks a milestone Hamm had openly anticipated following his marriage. In a 2024 interview, the actor expressed a desire to establish a family with Osceola, readily acknowledging that while he would step into the role as an older parent, he viewed the prospect with optimism.
Hamm and Osceola, who met on the set of Mad Men, married in 2023 at the exact California location where the drama series concluded filming. Hamm has previously reflected on the progression of their relationship, admitting he was initially hesitant about marriage due to his parents' quick divorce, but determined the personal commitment was worth overcoming his apprehension.
