'It: Welcome to Derry' Renewed for Season 2 by HBO; Watch the Teaser

Pennywise is back! About eight months after the end of the first season, HBO has confirmed the renewal of It: Welcome to Derry for Season 2. The It prequel series also got a teaser revealing the timeline of the story’s new chapter. Watch it below!

The second season will be set in 1935, during the Great Depression, and will begin with the Bradley Gang massacre, a group of bank robbers who arrive in Derry looking for ammunition and end up facing unimaginable horror.

Brad Caleb Kane will serve as showrunner for the new season, while Andy and Barbara Muschietti remain executive producers. The first season, with eight episodes, is available on HBO Max.
