'The Diplomat' Season 4 Gets First Trailer and Premiere Date Confirmed

Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for the fourth season of The Diplomat, one of its flagship political thrillers, and confirmed the premiere date for the new episodes. The series returns to the platform on October 15, with Keri Russell reprising her role as diplomat Kate Wyler.

The new season picks up directly from the cliffhanger left at the end of season three, when Kate discovers that her husband, Hal Wyler, and President Grace Penn are involved in the theft of a Russian nuclear weapon. As she tries to stop the revelation from sparking an international war, Kate also faces a crisis in her marriage. The cast also includes Rufus Sewell, Allison Janney, and Bradley Whitford.
