The first season was a success for HBO, earning an early renewal back in November of last year. The series maintained an average of 2 million viewers per episode, taking into account live audience and streaming data. Sennott serves as a producer alongside Emma Barrie, Aida Rodgers, Max Silvestri, and Lorene Scafaria.

In the series, created by Rachel Sennott, a tight-knit group of friends reunites after years apart, navigating the complexities of ambition, relationships, and how time has changed them.

I Love LA also features guest appearances from Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl), Moses Ingram, Lauren Holt, Elijah Wood (The Lord of the Rings), Quenlin Blackwell, Josh Brener, Froy Gutierrez, Colin Woodell, and Tim Baltz.
