'Golden Axe', Animated Series Based on SEGA Game, Gets Trailer and Release Date

Golden Axe, an animated series based on SEGA's classic game franchise, has released its first trailer. Watch it below. The production premieres on September 16 on Paramount+ and will have 10 episodes.

The story follows the warriors Ax Battler, Tyris Flare, and Gilius Thunderhead, who join forces to protect the magical land of Yuria from the villain Death Adder. The animated series takes a comedic approach and will also feature brand-new characters, such as Hampton Squib and Chronos.
