'Dark Matter' Season 2 Gets Trailer at SDCC; Watch Here

One of Apple TV's most intriguing and mysterious series, Dark Matter, is back August 28. During San Diego Comic-Con 2026, the platform released the first trailer for Season 2 alongside a release date for the next episodes. Check it out above. 

Inspired by the best-selling novel by Blake Crouch, the story follows Jason Dessen (Joel Edgerton), a physicist who is abducted into a different reality. The miracle quickly turns into a nightmare when he tries to return to his own reality amid the many lives he could have lived. In this labyrinth of mind-bending possibilities, he sets out on a harrowing journey to find his true family and save them from a terrifying and indestructible villain: himself.

The first episode of Season 2 of Dark Matter premieres on August 28, followed by a new episode weekly, every Friday, through October 30.
