Co-written with Dan Nigro and Amy Allen, Rodrigo's first Christmas song will also feature a music video with Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon and SNL's Ben Marshall. While Nixon famously plays Miranda Hobbes in the hit TV show, being referenced multiple times by Rodrigo, Marshall has become one of the most prolific SNL members.
The singer also frequently states how her favorite Sex and the City couple is Miranda and Steve Hobbes (David Eigenberg), meaning that we might be seeing Hobbes return once again to the character for Christmas.
Later this year, Rodrigo will join KATSEYE, Jonas Brothers, Hilary Duff and more for a special performance at the traditional iHeart Radio Jingle Ball. She's also current hosting her Unraveled Tour until 2027, which might be where fans end up hearing "take me home (4 christmas)" live for the first time before the Christmas special.
