Olivia Rodrigo Drops Romcom-ish Music Video for Debut Christmas Song

Olivia Rodrigo has already jumped on the Christmas bandwagon with the release of "take me home (4 christmas)", her first-ever jingle bell themed song. The video features Cynthia Nixon (Sex and the City) and SNL's Ben Marshall and is a reenactment of what it feels like to fall in love during the year's jolliest month.

Check it out below:

Although the song came out by itself, Nixon apparently spilled that a Christmas album is coming. "And she said that, not the Christmas album that's coming out, but in her previous album there were at least one song, if not a few songs that were kind of inspired by Steve and Miranda", commented the actress in an interview.

The actress' statement also points out Rodrigo's favorite Sex and the City couple, Miranda and Steve Hobbes (David Eigenberg), which has been reaffirmed by her several times. If the Christmas album ends up being true, it's likely that she will add a twist to her current Unraveled tour, just like she did for Halloween celebrations.

Additionally, Rodrigo is set to join KATSEYE, Jonas Brothers, Hilary Duff and more for a special performance at the traditional iHeart Radio Jingle Ball. She's also current hosting her Unraveled Tour until 2027, which might be where fans end up hearing "take me home (4 christmas)" live for the first time before the Christmas special.
