The Queen has spoken! Madonna slammed artificial intelligence and its use in typically creative and artistic content. In an interview with Vogue Italia, the artist said the technology is "the opposite of making art."
“Back in the day, you lived alongside painters, musicians, dancers, and artists all in one place, working in harmony and in tune with one another. I really value that experience,” Madonna said. “Nowadays, that doesn’t happen anymore. To land a record deal, all you think about is how many fans you have.”
She continued: “That’s why in Bring Your Love I say: ‘Don’t try to distract me with numbers.’ For me, it all started when I stopped thinking about the music charts, streaming numbers. Algorithms and artificial intelligence are the opposite of taking risks and, to me, that is the opposite of making art.”
