'Street Fighter' Actor Might Have Been Cast in 'X-Men' as a Mutant
The reboot premieres in theaters in 2028.
Cody Rhodes, who plays Guile in the live-action Street Fighter, may have hinted at his participation in Marvel Studios' X-Men reboot. During an interview with comedian Andrew Schulz, reported by Nerdist, Rhodes stated: "I am an X-Men." The statement surprised the interviewer, who reacted immediately: "Wait, what? What did you just say? I thought you were going to make an announcement."
In the conversation, Rhodes also revealed that his favorite X-Men character is Cyclops, known as Scott Summers. This statement fueled speculation about a possible role in the film, including the theory that he could play Havok, Cyclops' brother in the comics.

X-Men had a long run in theaters, with films produced by Fox since the early 2000s. An initial trilogy was made, and later the mutant group went through a sort of reboot, with an entirely new cast. In 2019, Fox was acquired by Disney, which has since been paving the way for the characters’ return to the big screen under new leadership.
