Ben Affleck’s New Netflix Thriller 'Animals' Gets Trailer and Release Date

After months without any news, Animals, the Netflix film starring and directed by Ben Affleck, has been slated to premiere in the final quarter of the year. The announcement came with the release of the trailer and confirmation that it will debut on October 9 on the platform. 

In the story, the son of a Los Angeles mayoral candidate is kidnapped, and the politician, along with his wife, tries to come up with the ransom money and makes risky decisions. The cast also includes Kerry Washington, Steven Yeun, Gillian Anderson, Adriana Paz, and Luis Gerardo Méndez.
