Does Spider-Man: Brand New Day have a post-credits scene?
Yes. The new Spider-Man movie has a post-credits scene. After the gorgeous credits featuring scenes of New York City and all the names after the black screen, the moment finally arrives.
What happens in the post-credits scene of Spider-Man: Brand New Day?
If you’re expecting a huge scene with a special appearance or something involving the X-Men, or even another appearance by the Avengers heroes, calm down. None of that happens.
The moment only shows the “Spider Tracker” screen, the app Ned created to locate the hero. It starts by showing your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man in Queens, and then the signal begins to fail and changes to “location unknown.” The map keeps zooming out, and then the Spider symbol appears far from Earth, somewhere in space. Or could it be in another universe?
What does the post-credits scene of Spider-Man: Brand New Day mean?
Spider-Man is not confirmed for Avengers: Doctor Doom, so we don’t know whether the hero will appear in the production. However, we do know from Brand New Day that he knows Yelena and has a relationship with her.
With the hero playing an important role in the Secret Wars comics, it’s very likely we’ll see Tom Holland alongside the Avengers soon and, of course, the “Spider Tracker” makes one thing clear: your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will be far from his neighborhood.
Everything you need to know about Spider-Man: Brand New Day
In addition to Tom Holland returning as the lead, Jacob Batalon will be back as Ned and Zendaya returns for the new Spider-Man movie as MJ. Among the new additions, we have Sadie Sink (Stranger Things) confirmed in a role that has not yet been specified (but is widely speculated to be Jean Grey).
Another confirmed name is Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, marking the hero’s debut in Marvel films. In addition, Mark Ruffalo is in the movie as Hulk and will transform, for the first time in the MCU, into Gray Hulk, a bigger and more dangerous version of the giant.
Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) is directing the project. Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna, who wrote Spider-Man: No Way Home, are also responsible for the upcoming movie.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives in theaters on July 31, 2026.
