Spider-Man: Brand New Day has entered the Top 10 highest-grossing films of all time in terms of worldwide box office revenue. According to Box Office Mojo data so far, Tom Holland’s film has reached $1.708 billion in global earnings and now sits in 10th place in the ranking, surpassing Inside Out 2. The movie hit the milestone after just two weeks in theaters.
Its performance in the domestic market is also impressive. According to Variety, Brand New Day has already surpassed US$ 700 million in the United States and Canada, becoming the film to reach that mark the fastest.
At its current pace, the Sony and Marvel production continues climbing the ranking and could surpass other major hits, such as Avengers: Infinity War, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and even Avengers: Endgame.
It is worth noting that experts predict the production could still reach historic milestones, including the possibility of becoming the first film to surpass $1 billion in the U.S. alone.
