According toThe Hollywood Reporter, Connor Storrie is in negotiations to star alongside Ryan Gosling in Marvel Studios' Ghost Rider movie.

Shawn Levy is directing the project, which marks his reunion with Gosling, star of Star Wars: Starfighter , and screenwriter Jonathan Tropper. Gosling is presumed to play Johnny Blaze, although Marvel has not officially confirmed this. In the comics, Blaze is a motorcycle stuntman who makes a pact with the devil and merges with a demon named Zatharos, transforming into a vengeful spirit with a flaming skull.

It is not yet known which villain Storrie would play, since the hero does not have a signature antagonist, but faces a series of demons. In the Sony films starring Nicolas Cage, he played Mephisto and his son, Blackheart. More recently, Sacha Baron Cohen played Mephisto in the Disney+ series Fury.

Announced during Marvel 's panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, Ghost Rider will star Gosling and be directed by Levy, reuniting them after Star Wars: Starfighter, which premieres in May 2027.

For now, there are no major details about the plot or how the production will fit into the MCU. After all, there are still two Avengers movies until then, most notably the premiere of Doctor Doom in December of this year.

Ghost Rider arrives on July 28, 2028.
