'The Apothecary Diaries' Season 3 Confirms Its Total Number of Episodes

The third season of The Apothecary Diaries has confirmed its episode number. An update on the anime's official website revealed that the new season will have 24 episodes, just like the previous two seasons.

The show returned on October 2nd and follows Maomao on a new investigation, this time into a mystery involving a possible famine crisis.

While the first part of the newest season has already premiered, the second part is scheduled to arrive on Crunchyroll on April 2027.

In addition to the third season, the franchise is preparing other new projects. A film based on The Apothecary Diaries will hit Japanese theaters in December, featuring a brand-new story not adapted from the light novels or the anime. The production will also get a live-action series on Prime Video and a new video game.
