'Solo Leveling' Gets a Brand-New Original Story Ahead of the Movie

Fans of Solo Leveling are still waiting for news about the franchise’s highly anticipated movie, but a brand-new original story has been released to help ease the wait. Netmarble has launched a new official one-shot of Hunter Origin, a special story series tied to the game Solo Leveling: Arise.

The story focuses on protagonist Sung Jinwoo and revisits key moments from his journey, from his near-death experience in the Double Dungeon to major battles like the clash on Jeju Island. The chapter ends with an encounter between Jinwoo and Ashborn, closing on a mysterious note with the phrase "Arise," without revealing which of the two characters says it. 

Meanwhile, the Solo Leveling movie still has no release date, but it is expected to adapt the Recruitment and Ahjin Guild arcs, continuing the story after the events of the anime’s second season.
