Set in North America, the series will follow characters who face isolation in their own way, in a world devastated by the phenomenon known as Death Stranding. While Sam Bridges tries to reconnect humanity in the games, the animation will introduce other people whose paths and destinies end up crossing. Kojima is involved in the project as an executive producer.
