The final episode of Agent Kim Reactivated will have a longer runtime than usual. That’s because broadcaster SBS confirmed that the last chapter of the most-watched k-drama of 2026 will air next Saturday, July 25, at 9:45 PM (South Korea time), five minutes earlier than normal. So fans can expect a longer episode.
In Brazil, the series is available to stream on Netflix.
Will Agent Kim Reactivated get a second season?
Unless it becomes a major ratings phenomenon, no — and even if it does, South Korean broadcasters and creators often prefer to leave things as they are. So it’s best to keep expectations in check and view Agent Kim: Reactivated as a miniseries.
What is Agent Kim Reactivated about?
The story follows Manager Kim, who seems to be a normal single father — until his daughter is put in danger, and he turns to his past as a secret agent to try to rescue her, very much in the style of Taken.
Alongside him are other veteran agents who retired because of fatherhood, such as taekwondo fighter Han-su and former soldier Jin-cheol.
The three characters mentioned in the synopsis above are drawn from other titles in the world of webtoons/anime. Manager Kim first appeared in Lookism, Han-su is from Viral Hit, and Jin-cheol is from My Life as a Loser — as a whole, the series are nicknamed the PTJ Universe by fans and creators.
The cast of Agent Kim: Reactivated is led by So Ji-sub (No Mercy) as the title character. Also in the lineup are Choi Dae-hoon (When Life Gives You Tangerines), Yoon Kyung-ho (Vincenzo) and Naeun (Apink, Dinner Mate).
