Hollow Knight: Silksong

It’s here: after seven years of waiting, Silksong is finally real and can be played on Xbox Game Pass on day one. The game is set in the same universe as the acclaimed Hollow Knight, but with a different protagonist; the agile Hornet takes center stage in the new story Team Cherry will tell. Mixtape

Although some argue that Mixtape isn’t even a game, it’s undeniably memorable: with an incredible soundtrack, this narrative-driven title tells the story of a trio of teenagers on their last day in the town of Blue Moon Lagoon, California.

Hades II

How do you elevate a classic? Hades 2 manages to expand on everything that made the first entry one of the best games of the decade. Taking control of Melinoë in an attempt to save her family from the Titan Chronos’s assault on Olympus, Zagreus’s younger sister’s adventure is even more epic and just as challenging as the original experience. 

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

One of the best games of 2025, Expedition 33 revitalizes the turn-based RPG genre by adding several real-time elements. Defending, dodging, and timing your attacks are essential to giving the format a more modern pace — but that’s not even the best part. Its tragic, deeply layered story is powerful enough to move even the coldest hearts, telling, in both direct and metaphorical ways, of a desperate attempt to survive in a hostile world.

Forza Horizon 6

Forza Horizon 6 is finally here, and the Horizon Festival in Japan is packed with things to do. Players can explore Tokyo, race through the city streets, cruise around the country, find hidden cars scattered across the map, and drift down mountain roads in true Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift or Initial D style. For fans of racing sims and Japanese car culture, this game is a real treat. 

Star Wars Outlaws

Star Wars Outlaws is a very different game from what it was at launch, with Ubisoft bringing improvements to stealth and other gameplay elements, as well as graphical enhancements. 

Now quite different from its launch version, Star Wars Outlaws puts players in the role of Kay Vess, who is searching for freedom and a new life. It’s worth noting that the title is the franchise’s first open-world game, which makes it well worth giving it a chance. 

Undisputed

If you miss EA’s Fight Night franchise, Undisputed might help fill that void, offering a wide variety of punches, the most advanced footwork in a boxing title, and the chance to build your career with a brand-new character or a legend of the sport. 

Vampire Crawlers

The new project from the creators of Vampire Survivors promises to be just as chaotic and fun as its predecessor. This time, the adventure is card-based, with cards that grant you increasing damage, combos, and multiplied effects.

Psychonauts 2

Few games have had their development journey documented as intimately as Psychonauts 2. Born from the brilliant mind of Tim Schafer, the game has a documentary that is as extensive as it is personal, highlighting the near miracle of its very existence. In it, the player controls Raz, a young psychic capable of entering other people’s minds to help combat trauma, recover lost memories, and solve emotional problems.

NBA 2K26

The NBA Finals are about to begin, and NBA 2K26 is available on Game Pass right in the middle of the biggest moment in basketball. With an improved shooting system, new layup mechanics, and a career mode featuring a story written by Spike Lee, the game has everything it needs to keep basketball fans entertained during the excitement of the NBA playoffs.
