Nintendo Announces 'The Legend of Zelda' and Standard Directs for Next Week
Presentations will be live September 8 and 9 at 10:00 A.M. ET
The rumors have been confirmed: Nintendo has announced two Nintendo Direct presentations for next week.
The first will be dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the The Legend of Zelda franchise and will take place on September 8, running for about 30 minutes. Expectations are for news related to the franchise, including information about the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and the reveal of the first trailer for the live-action based off of the games.
The following day, September 9, a standard Nintendo Direct will be held, lasting about 45 minutes and traditionally focusing on upcoming games for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. Both presentations will start at 10:00 A.M. ET.
Nintendo Direct is the name given to the company’s digital livestreams made to announce games, updates, trailers, and other news directly to the public. The schedule reinforces the spotlight moment for the Switch 2, which has already received announcements such as Ocarina of Time, Kingdom Hearts IV and Xenoblade Genesis in recent presentations.
