'Dispatch' Studio Worked on the Story for 'Until Dawn 2'

Firesprite has confirmed that AdHoc Studio—the team behind the acclaimed Dispatch—collaborated on building the narrative of Until Dawn 2.

The partnership, announced in a post on the PlayStation Blog, promises a richer experience shaped by choices and consequences, with sharp dialogue and complex relationships.

"We partnered with our friends at AdHoc Studio – the brilliant minds behind the acclaimed Dispatch – so you can expect a deeply layered story filled with rich characters, sharp dialogue, tense relationships, difficult decisions and, yes, more than a few brutal deaths," the statement says. "Every choice, every interaction can have dramatic consequences."

AdHoc, made up primarily of former talent from Telltale, Ubisoft and Night School Studio, released its first game only last year. The success of Dispatch (2025), a superhero game with polished narrative design, seems to have opened the door to collaborating on Until Dawn 2.

Until Dawn 2 arrives on January 28, 2027 for PlayStation 5.
