'Prison Break' Remake Series Adds Seven Names to Its Cast; Learn More

The new series set in the Prison Break universe has just added several names to its cast. According to Deadline, Noah Emmerich (Dark Winds), Catfish Jean (Sugar), Augie Duke (Mayans M.C.), Brad Beyer (Jericho), Greg Vrotsos (Mayans M.C.), Daniel David Stewart (Reacher), and Michael Mosley (Ballard) have joined the production.

Emmerich will play Callum Faulls, Jackson's (Lukas Gage) father and a highly influential political figure in West Virginia. Jean plays Big Country, an intimidating member of a prison gang.

Duke will play Iris, an inmate who shares a deep maternal bond with Cheyenne (Kelli Berglund). Beyer will portray David Ryan, a captain of correctional officers. Vrotsos will play Dempsey, a prison guard with a strong sense of loyalty.

Lastly, Stewart will bring Cody to life, a new inmate unprepared for life in prison and Mosley will portray Maynard Gibbs, a lieutenant who follows the rules to the letter and is suspicious of Cassidy (Emily Browning).

The robust cast currently includes Emily Browning as Cassidy, Drake Rodger as Tommy, Lukas Gage as Jackson, Clayton Cardenas as Michael/Ghost, JR Bourne as Junior, Georgie Flores as Andrea, and Myles Bullock as Darius/"Red."

The new series will take place in the same universe as the original, but with a somewhat different storyline. This time, a former soldier turned correctional officer (Browning) takes a job at one of the most dangerous prisons in the United States to prove how far she is willing to go for someone she loves.
