The second season of Pluribus is already in development, and Rhea Seehorn was surprised by the script for the first episode.
In an interview with ScreenRant, the actress, winner of the Emmy for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her work on the production, said that the story already intrigued her from the first pages. Filming for the new episodes is scheduled to begin this week.
“I only have the first draft. That’s all I have, and it’s crazy. I was already messaging Vince [Gilligan] about it on page 3. I was like, ‘What’s going on?’” Seehorn said.
The actress added that with each page she became more surprised by the direction the plot was taking. "It's insane! 'We're going back little by little.' With each page, I thought: 'What's happening?' So, I'm excited," she concluded.
Created by Vince Gilligan, Pluribus follows Carol Sturka, a writer who appears to be one of the few people immune to a phenomenon that is transforming humanity. The series is one of Apple TV+'s biggest hits.
