Mike Flanagan Points a 'Carrie' Detail Thought of For 'The Dark Tower' Fans
It's all there in the Kingverse.
Mike Flanagan has confirmed that Carrie is, indeed, connected to The Dark Tower. Omelete previously pointed the relation by remembering that Carrie White is mentioned in The Dark Tower VII, meaning that the prom queen's story is also part of that world.
The series, though, goes even further to deepen the relationship between the works. "Dark Tower fans are going to love the signage at the place where Ralph White works", said the director of the Prime Video series in a Gold Derby interview regarding the presence of LaMerk Industries in both novels.
He also adds that other The Dark Tower references can be seen in the "background" due to a creative decision thought of to avoid taking attention from the main plot.
