Netflix Bets on Another Teen Horror With 'The Body'; Watch the Trailer

Netflix is betting on another teen horror that revolves around young girls dealing with life's pressure while getting to know their own paranormal-ish problems. The Body, a series created by Quinn Shephard (Under the Bridge), captures the director's own teenage problems: "It's a raunchy teen psychodrama with a dash of Catholic horror", she said in a Netflix blogpost. 

The group of teenage girls, called "Lions", are a dance-team composed by Anya (Kristina Bogic), Elise (Sara Boustany) and the latest recruit Grace (Sofia Wylie), who ends up becoming a problem for the school after a drug ritual goes south. Check out the trailer below. 

The cast also contains Geena Meszaros, Shirley Chen and  Gabby Windey. Riley Keough, Amy Israel, Peter Chernin, John Stern, Gina Gamell and Sacha Ben Harroche are on board as producers. 

The Body is set to premiere on Netflix November 11.
