'Grey's Anatomy' Season 23 Gets Premiere Date; Check It Out

ABC has confirmed the premiere date for the 23rd season of Grey's Anatomy. The new season of the long-running medical drama premieres on U.S. TV on October 15.

The new season will be the first without Owen Hunt and Teddy Altman, following the characters' departure at the end of Season 22. Ellen Pompeo, who has played Meredith Grey since the series premiered in 2005, remains involved with the production as narrator, executive producer, and will make special appearances in the new episodes.

Created by Shonda Rhimes, Grey's Anatomy also stars Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., Debbie Allen, Jason George, Camilla Luddington and more.
