HBO has just scored big with The Pitt being one of the most awarded shows at the 2026 Emmy Awards, including a trophy for Outstanding Drama Series. Meanwhile, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, a Game of Thrones spin-off, was nominated in the same category. In an interview with Deadline, HBO president Casey Bloys spoke about the future of the universe on the channel and streaming service.

When asked about new spin-offs, such as A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Bloys joked about the productions currently in development, but delivered some less-than-encouraging news for fans who were eagerly awaiting new announcements.
