Vince Vaughn Faces Off John Malkovich in New 'Bad Monkey' Trailer

Apple TV released the first trailer for the second season of Bad Monkey. The new batch of episodes is scheduled to premiere on December 2nd and places Detective Andrew Yancy, played by Vince Vaughn, in the middle of a new and complex investigation.

In the plot, Yancy witnesses the murder of a lawyer and ends up teaming up with a hard-nosed forensic accountant to solve the crime. The investigation places the protagonist in a turf war between rival criminal organizations and puts him face to face with crime boss Spencer Donovan, played by John Malkovich.

In one scene from the trailer, Yancy is held up by thugs on top of a building and asks if he can call the police, assuring them that the call isn't about them.

In addition to Vaughn, the cast includes the return of Natalie Martinez as Rosa, Charlotte Lawrence as Caitlin, and John Ortiz as Rogelio. New additions include Yvonne Strahovski and Zavior Phillips, as well as special appearances by names such as Dax Shepard, Sam Jaeger, and June Diane Raphael.

The plot follows Andrew Yancy (Vaughn), a police officer expelled from the Miami police department who now works as a health inspector in the Florida Keys. After encountering a case that begins with a severed arm, Yancy plans to solve the mystery to regain his place in the police force.
