The Strokes Releases New Album 'Reality Awaits'; Listen

American rock band The Strokes is back. The group released its album Reality Awaits this Friday (24), its seventh studio record. Listen above.

This is the band’s first album of new material since The New Abnormal, released in 2020. Produced by Rick Rubin and recorded in Costa Rica, the new album features nine tracks and arrives on streaming platforms via RCA Records and Cult Records.

Before the full release, the group shared the singles "Going Shopping" and "Falling out of Love," which previewed the new project. The album cover also stands out for being inspired by a work by American artist Richard Prince.
