Macklemore's dismissal from Ed Sheeran's Loop tour after publicly supporting Palestine has caused other artists to drop out of the shows. Aaron Rowe, Lukas Graham and the Irish band Beoga announced that they will no longer participate. Finneas' also announced his departure.

Macklemore was pulled from the tour after speaking in support of Palestine at shows on September 4th and 5th at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Finneas, who was scheduled to play six shows in South America at the end of the year, said on social media: "Artists must not be silenced when they speak up for the oppressed. I have decided to withdraw from my upcoming tour dates with Ed Sheeran. I stand with Palestine and its people."

Rowe, who is Irish, also explained his decision. "As Irish people, we know all too well what genocide, forced starvation, and violent occupation are. I cannot allow billionaires to use their power to silence those who stand up against Israeli genocide. I would lose respect for myself if I continued as if nothing were happening." He ended the note writing "Free Palestine".

Lukas Graham spoke up next. "We should be able to talk about war, about civilians being killed, about children who deserve to grow up. Wherever they live. Whatever flag is flying over them. I can't say that and continue with the tour as it is. We're pulling out of the remaining dates."

Macklemore accused billionaire Robert Kraft of orchestrating his departure, convincing other stadium owners to ban him for speaking out. In response, Ed Sheeran said Macklemore's departure was not his decision and that he tried to intervene.
