Coachella and YouTube Extend Streaming Partnership to 2030
New deal is set to make content partnership even bigger for 2027
Coachella will continue to be streamed exclusively on YouTube for at least until 2030. Google's official video platform confirmed via a blogpost that the partnership renewal comes after a new record: "Millions of viewers all over the world tuned into Coachella on YouTube 2026, which set the record for the most viewers watching at one time in the history of Coachella on YouTube".
"YouTube and Goldenvoice will continue to build on this experience, giving people at home new ways to connect with their favorite artists and discover new music at the festival", said Lyor Cohen, Global Head of Music for YouTube, in a video.
The streaming collaboration will hit 15 years in April 2027 and the production is set to grow even further, with YouTube creators being a crucial part of the multiviewing experience and performers — such as Justin Bieber — adding digital bits to their gig to appeal to home spectants.
The next edition of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival will happen in April 2027 in Indio, California.
