'Tangled' Live-Action Gets First Trailer and Release Date at D23

After weeks of leaked set photos revealing striking scenes and the cast’s look, the live-action Tangled has finally gotten its first trailer during the D23 Expo, Disney’s biennial convention.

The release date was also revealed: the live-action hits theaters on March 31, 2028.

The main cast includes Teagan Croft as Rapunzel and Milo Manheim as Flynn Rider. Kathryn Hahn plays the villain Mother Gothel. Diego Luna has been cast in a brand-new undisclosed role. The film is directed by Michael Gracey, known for The Greatest Showman and Better Man.
