Actress Callina Liang, who plays Chun-Li in the live-action Street Fighter, shared part of her training to portray the character on social media. In the video posted on Instagram, the actress is seen practicing martial arts and physically preparing for the role.

In the games, Chun-Li is one of the franchise’s best-known characters and a skilled martial artist who works as an Interpol agent. In the post’s caption, Liang revealed the character’s influence on her life. “I will forever be grateful to Chun Li for making me fall in love with feeling strong - and getting stronger. changed a lot for me, and somehow martial arts became one of the best forms of therapy I’ve ever found", she wrote.
