Sony Pictures released the new trailer for Resident Evil this Thursday (23), a horror film based on the zombie-filled universe of Capcom's games. This new version is directed and written by Zach Cregger, who was behind Barbarian and, last year, Weapons. Check it out below:

Resident Evil opens in U.S. theaters on September 18 this year.
