Netflix Christmas Film 'Guarding Stars' Gets First Trailer; Watch Here

As usual, Netflix is ​​starting to release its Christmas movies in advance. This week, the platform presented the first previews of its Christmas productions. Guarding Stars, a romantic comedy starring Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl) and Jared Padalecki (Supernatural), is one of the firsts in the 2026 slate. Watch the trailer above.

In the film, Meester plays a pragmatic bodyguard tasked with protecting a Hollywood actor, played by Padalecki, during the holiday season. However, the job takes an unexpected turn when their relationship deepens, secrets come to light, and the Christmas atmosphere becomes more complicated.

The film is inspired by the novel The Bodyguard, by Katherine Center, published in 2022, and directed by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum (Purple Hearts). Guarding Stars premieres on the platform on November 18.
