McKenna Grace Wants to Play Peter Parker's Love Interest in the MCU

Mckenna Grace has expressed interest in playing Gwen Stacy in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). When recently asked about the possibility, the actress responded in a recent interview, reported by ComicBook : “Stop it, because whenever fans suggest I play a role, it’s because it’s not going to happen, stop it. No, oh my god, of course it would be a dream job for any actor.”

In the comics, Gwen Stacy is an important character in Spider-Man's history, known for being one of Peter Parker's first crushes. She has appeared in various adaptations, including the films starring Andrew Garfield and the animated series Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, in which an alternate version of the character takes on the mantle of Spider-Woman. Despite being quite well-known among fans, Gwen has not yet appeared in the MCU films starring Tom Holland;

Gwen's potential debut in the MCU also raises questions about her role in the story, especially in light of the events of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. There's still no confirmation that the character will be in the fifth film, nor that Mckenna Grace is officially being considered for the role. If introduced, Gwen could have a different trajectory than that of Peter Parker's love interest.

Besides the possibility of entering the Marvel universe, Grace has other prominent projects. The actress will be in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, the new film in the franchise, and in the live-action series Scooby-Doo: The Origin, on Netflix.
