After correctly reporting Ryan Gosling as the next Ghost Rider in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), insider Daniel Richtman revealed that the highly anticipated reboot of X-Men is expected to be announced during D23, Disney’s main convention, taking place between August 14 and 16. New details about the film are expected, including the cast reveal.
In the comics, the X-Men are a group of people born with special abilities who face prejudice from society simply for being mutants. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the original lineup included Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Iceman, Beast, and Angel, along with Professor X himself. It was only many years later that more popular characters were added, such as Wolverine, Gambit, Rogue, and Storm. It is still unknown which lineup will be used in theaters.
