Demi Lovato's 'Camp Rock 3' Participation Explained

At first, Demi Lovato's involvement in Camp Rock 3 was kept under wraps, and the star was only announced as the film’s executive producer. However, as many fans had already expected, she did make a special appearance as Mitchie Torres. But what happens in the scene?

Mitchie appears during the Final Jam in three scenes. First, she surprises her mother, Connie (María Canals Barrera), by revealing that she managed to get a break from her tour and couldn’t miss this moment at Camp Rock.

Later, after the contestants’ performances, she meets up with Connect 3 (Jonas Brothers) and helps them decide who should win. She’s the one who points out that they don’t need to choose just one winner — it can be everyone.

That’s when she repeats one of Mitchie’s most iconic lines from the first movie. When she sees Sage (Liamani), she says, "She’s really good." On top of that, she shares a look with the protagonist in a moment that almost feels like passing the torch.
