Tom Hiddleston Explains if 'Avengers: Doomsday' is Connected to 'Loki'

Do you need to watch Disney+'s Loki before Avengers: Doomsday? In an interview with TechRadar, star Tom Hiddleston addressed Marvel fans' question, but stopped short of confirming whether the series will be essential viewing to follow the new MCU movie.

"So, yeah, I would always say, if you haven't watched it, go and do so. And, if you haven't watched it before Doomsday, go and watch it again." he concluded — keeping the mystery alive. 

Hiddleston, who has played Loki since Thor (2011), chose not to reveal details about the character's role in Avengers: Doomsday. However, the return of the God of Mischief has already been confirmed by Marvel, and the character even made a brief appearance in the film's first official trailer. 

Avengers: Doomsday hits theaters on December 18, 2026.
