According to a report by Xportsnews this Monday (20), actor Lee Hong Nae may join the cast of Solo Leveling on Netflix. His agency stated that "he received an offer to appear, but nothing has been confirmed yet".

In the live-action adaptation of the hit manhwa and anime, Lee Hong Nae was reportedly offered the role of Kang Tae Sik, a B-rank hunter from the Surveillance Division of the Korean Hunters Association, who is a villain in the original material.

The actor recently drew attention with his performance in The East Palace, on Netflix. The cast of Solo Leveling already has Byeon Woo Seok confirmed as protagonist Sung Jin Woo, with Han So Hee and Kang You Seok in talks for the roles of Cha Hae In and Yoo Jin Ho, respectively. Kang Mina, Rain, and Lee Sung Min are also in talks to join the cast.
