The live-action adaptation of Look Back, a side story by Tatsuki Fujimoto, creator of Chainsaw Man, has received a full trailer and a release date of September 11 in Japanese theaters. The footage recreates some of the anime’s most iconic scenes in live action. Watch above!

Fujino, a confident fourth-grade student, publishes a four-panel comic in the school newspaper and is praised by her classmates. However, one day, she sees a comic by Kyomoto, a classmate who has been absent from school, published in the school newspaper and is blown away by his incredible drawing skills. From then on, Fujino keeps drawing manga with the sole desire of improving her own abilities, but the gap between them remains, and she almost gives up.
