Following the reveal of the Netflix stream for Grand Theft Auto Vi, a series of game previews were released, and IGN shared some new details about the title and how certain mechanics will work, including Jason and Lucia’s safehouses.
Rockstar Games confirmed that the bases, or homes that Jason and Lucia can have throughout the story, will work like the camps in Red Dead Redemption 2, allowing players to trim hair and beards, though changing styles will need to be done at a barbershop or salon.
Various vehicles can be purchased by each character and kept at their safehouses, and they will have functional trunks where it will be possible to store clothes and weapons to evade the police and complete missions.
As in any other GTA, salons and specific clothing stores will have different options, encouraging you to explore each one. In addition, Jason and Lucia can live together in the same hideout and follow their own routines, making their behavior in the world as realistic as possible.
Everything you need to know about GTA VI
Once again developed by Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto VI is the first GTA in thirteen years, following the astronomical success of GTA V, released in 2013. The franchise is one of the most successful in video game history.
The story of GTA VI takes place in an open world based on Florida, in the United States. Its setting is Vice City, a fictional version of Miami that debuted in the first GTA and later got its own game with 2002’s GTA Vice City.
GTA VI arrives on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19, 2026. A PC version has not yet been announced.
