Charley, Uma Thurman 's character in Dexter: Resurrection, still has unfinished business. In an interview with Omelete , the actress indicated that the second season holds violent consequences for the character's plans.
When asked about the possibility of exploring more action scenes in this new phase, Thurman responded with a hint about what's to come: “Believe me: her redemption plan might be executed by a friend, but it's violent on a large scale. So, I would say yes,” she stated. “As things tend to be in this world.”
The actress also spoke about Charley's relationship with the world of wealth and connections presented in the first season. Linked to billionaire Leon Prater, played by Peter Dinklage, the character knows the inner workings of the community of assassins that attracts Dexter's attention.
"These killers were lured out of hiding to obtain financial support, experience luxury, become part of a community, and create bonds," he explained.
According to Thurman, Charley's reach did not disappear with the changes in this structure.
"Charley still maintains her influence over this now-defunct institution, serving both her own and Dexter's motivations."
The actress did not reveal who the friend involved in the plan would be, nor did she detail how this quest for redemption will unfold.
