According to Variety, Norman Reedus has joined James Marsden in the cast of the series Disavowed, an Apple TV production. The project was originally announced in May with Marsden in the lead role, but details about Reedus' character are being kept under wraps.

The series is based on an original idea by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway and follows Brad Griffin (Marsden), a CIA agent who is fired in the middle of a global manhunt for the killer who murdered his colleague. Disgraced and shut out of the intelligence world, he decides to go after the federal reward of $15 million for the assassin's head.

Michelle MacLaren is directing the first two episodes and executive producing alongside Michelle Hobbs as part of her overall deal with Apple TV. Apple Studios is also involved in the production.
