'The Housemaid' Sequel, With Sydney Sweeney, Casts 'Off Campus' Actor

Stephen Kalyn, known for playing Dean in Off Campus, is joining the cast of The Housemaid’s Secret. The sequel already includes Sydney Sweeney, Brittany Snow, Kristen Dunst, Michele Morrone, and Paul Anthony Kelly.

Kalyn’s role has not yet been revealed.

Sydney Sweeney is confirmed to return as Millie, while Michele Morrone will also be back as Enzo. They will be joined by Kirsten Dunst. According to director Paul Feig, the sequel's script has already been turned in, and filming is expected to begin in the Northern Hemisphere fall, which starts in September and runs through December.

The Housemaid's Secret will adapt the second book in the bestselling series by Freida McFadden, The Housemaid's Secret. In it, Millie (Sweeney) goes back to work as a housemaid, this time for a woman she is never allowed to see. Until she discovers the truth behind the locked door, which threatens to expose secrets far darker than her own. 

The film hits theaters on December 17, 2027.
