'Spider-Man' Gets a New Roller Coaster at Shanghai Disney; Take a Look

Get ready to step into Spider-Man’s universe! During D23, Disney unveiled a new roller coaster inspired by the hero that will be built at Shanghai Disney Resort. The attraction will be part of the first themed area dedicated exclusively to the web-slinging hero in one of the company’s parks. Check out a new piece of concept art below.

The attraction promises a high-speed, fully immersive experience that will put guests on an adventure alongside the hero, who will have found himself in a tricky situation. Based on the released image, the roller coaster will feature themed settings and elements from the character’s universe, including a giant Spider-Bot.

Construction on the attraction is already underway, and the area will be built near the Zootopia themed land. Disney has not yet announced an opening date for the new roller coaster.
