It's customary to stay seated after a superhero movie ends to see if there's a post-credits scene. Now, with Clayface, the new horror release from DC Studios, that anticipation is back. But is it worth staying until the end of the credits?

Does Clayface have post-credits scenes?

Omelete Recommends

Superman, the first DC Studios film, had two joke-filled post-credits scenes. Supergirl, on the other hand, had none. Where does Clayface fit into this scale? Well, the DC Studios body horror film doesn't have any post-credits scenes. When it's over, you can leave the theater without worrying about missing anything.

There are no scenes connecting to the rest of the DCU, no references to Batman, or any jokes.

Is Clayface worth watching?

But don't worry: despite being a fairly isolated story in the DCU, Clayface is a hit for James Gunn's studio. In our initial impressions, we praised his use of body horror: "Clayface's body horror gives a new dimension to a villain who can rise to the ranks of Batman's rogues' gallery. You sympathize with Matt and root for him, until the traditional madness of Gotham takes over and the film throws you into agony."

Clayface premieres in cinemas on October 23.
