'Copperhead' Adds Jason Momoa, Tenoch Huerta, Adria Arjona, and More

According to exclusive information from Deadline, Black Label Media has cast Jason Momoa, Tenoch Huerta, Adria Arjona, and Kiefer Sutherland in the cast of Copperhead, a thriller that already has Miles Teller set as its lead.

Details about the characters are being kept under wraps. The announcement comes ahead of the Toronto Film Festival, where Black Bear will begin sales for the film.

The story follows a veteran detective who, after a drug operation ends in violence, is forced to team up with a young federal agent to uncover a conspiracy within his own elite unit.

The film is directed by John Swab (a Venice award winner), with a screenplay by Chad Feehan and J. Todd Scott. Filming begins in September. The project is financed by Black Label Media, which is producing alongside Lime Tree Productions (Teller’s company) and Milk Boy (Swab’s company).
