Callum Turner Might Have Been Cast as James Bond, Report Says
A journalist from Showbiz411, who revealed Daniel Craig's casting 20 years ago, claims the British actor will get the role.

Journalist Roger Friedman of Showbiz411 — the same one who broke the news of Daniel Craig's casting more than 20 years ago — stated that Callum Turner will be the new James Bond.
The information comes as the 36-year-old actor resigned from his position as director of Twentytwo Films, the production company he launched with his wife, Dua Lipa, last year.
The departure from the company was seen by the British press as a move to clear their schedule, since 007 producers are actively looking for an actor fully dedicated to a franchise that consumes the performer's life.
The timing reinforces the rumors. Turner reportedly attended Bray Studios in Berkshire on Friday for his screen test. He is among the four finalists in the competition, alongside Jack Lowden of Slow Horses and Jacob Elordi, who, if chosen, would displease purists who demand a Briton for the role. Josh O'Connor, who also auditioned, told a fan backstage at the Almeida Theatre in London that he will not get the part.
The pressure for a decision is high. Producer Amy Pascal stated in August that the end of the year would be a good time for an official announcement. Confirmation in November would allow Amazon MGM to begin filming in 2027, under the direction of Denis Villeneuve .

It is not yet known when the new James Bond film will be released, let alone who will take on the role of Agent 007. However, Denis Villeneuve (Sicario, Dune) will direct, and Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders) is handling the screenplay.
